2005-2010 Saturn Models now Available through GM Certified Used Vehicles
As sagas go, the parting of Saturn from the General Motors group was a hard one. GM had actually done a pretty good job promoting Saturn as a different kind of car company and the division attracted a lot of loyal customers. It wasn’t strange for Saturn execs to organize special outings with owners of Saturns through the years. When the recession hit, GM was forced to shed many of its brands including Pontiac, Saab, Hummer and, yes, Saturn. For a while it looked as if GM had a buyer for Saturn. However, the deal fell through and the company ultimately decided to kill the brand altogether. Obviously, the loyal clientele were heartbroken. But now comes word that Saturns will continue to traverse the roadways of this country and General Motors will have a hand in it. GM is creating a Certified Used Vehicle program that will include 2005 to 2010 Saturns. The cars will be covered with a 12 month/12,000 mile warranty. There will also be a 100,000 mile/five year fully-transferable powertrain limited warranty, a free vehicle history report, 24-hour roadside assistance, a three day/150 mile customer satisfaction guarantee and a three month trial subscription to both OnStar and XM Satellite Radio. The cars will be available at Buick, GMC and Chevrolet dealerships around the country. _________________________________________________________________________________________ DETROIT – GM Certified Used Vehicles, a leading manufacturer-certified used vehicle brand, today announced the addition of Saturn models to their certified vehicle lineup.
