2013 Chevy Malibu Sees Price Drop in Nearly All Models, Trims
General Motors has released pricing information on its upcoming 2013 Chevrolet Malibu sedan. Prices for the base 2013 Chevy Malibu rose slightly from $22,870 to $23,150, however, they actually fell for the mid-level models, with the 2013 Malibu 1LT priced at $24,765 ($24,230 for model year 2012) while the 2013 Chevrolet Malibu 2LT starting at $26,000 ($27,060 for MY2012). The previous Malibu 3LT model has been updated for MY2013 with a new turbocharged engine which nearly generates 260-horsepower. Pricing for the revamped 2013 Chevy Malibu 3LT starts at $27,710, less than last year's model of $29,060 The higher-zoot 2013 Chevrolet Malibu LTZ starts at $28,590, less than last year's $29,360 price tag; opt for the turbocharged engine, and the 2013 Chevy Malibu LTZ price increases to $30,925, which is still slightly less than last year's non-turbo top-of-the-line $30,960 Malibu. The 2013 Chevrolet Malibu Eco is new, and starts at $26,095. Note all pricing includes $760 destination and handling fee. The 2013 Chevy Malibu Eco is currently available at Chevrolet dealerships. Non-turbo 2013 Malibu LS, LT, and LTZ models go on sale later in 2012. The 2013 Chevrolet Malibu LT and LTZ with turbo will be arriving at dealerships sometime in late third to early fourth quarters of this year.
