2013 Ferrari F620 GT Breaks Cover Before Geneva

By Trevor Dorchies | February 24, 2012
After all of the leaks and early unveils over the past few days, there's little reason to physically attend the 2012 Geneva Motor Show next month. Joining the likes of the Land Rover Range Rover Evoque convertible concept, Ferrari has been caught off guard as its latest coupe has been leaked to the public. Meet the 2013 Ferrari F620 GT, the official successor to the 599 GTB. With styling that includes elements of the Ferrari FF, 458, and California models, the F620 GT also incorporates a little of Aston Martin's styling around the front end; look closely and you'll see a little of the One-77 has been blended into the F620 GT's new nose. While the official unveil is scheduled for February 29, the F620 GT pictured above is actually a wooden model painted in matte silver captured by someone attending an exclusive Ferrari preview event. A full-scale working model of the F620 GT dressed in red was also in attendance, according to GT Spirit.com
Underneath the all-new F620 GT's hood rests a 6.3-liter V-12 engine that's ready to spring into action at a moment's notice. At the end of the F620 GT's leash are 740 ponies that are linked up to a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission in a rear-wheel configuration. The 2013 Ferrari F620 GT can go from 0-62 mph in three seconds flat, and it can double that speed in just 8.5 seconds. For those of you keeping track at home that's 0.4 seconds faster than the Lamborghini Aventador. Top speed for the F620 GT is expected to top out at around a blistering 211 mph. All other details remain a secret for the time being, but stay with us as official pictures are expected to be released next week. Source: GT Spirit.com
