2013 Infiniti JX Preps Launch with Four Different (But Really the Same) Commercials

By Trevor Dorchies | March 14, 2012
In a short time the 2013 Infiniti JX will be added to Infiniti's lineup. Dealerships can expect the JX to start popping up on their lots this spring, but in the meantime Infiniti continues to prepare for the launch of its latest crossover. To raise awareness about the its pending release, Infiniti has begun airing three 30-second and one one-minute commercial for the 2013 Infiniti JX on YouTube.  While each commercial has a different theme one detail stays consistently perpetual throughout all of them: Infiniti's all-new Backup Collision Intervention. BCI helps the driver avoid hitting something when the vehicle is backing up by applying the brakes before brake pedal is actually engaged. In each commercial the driver of the Infiniti JX is backing down a driveway and an item crosses paths with the luxury crossover at the last minute. Instead of hitting the object like many vehicles might do, or merely warning the driver of an impending collision, the company claims the BCI system will help the 2013 Infiniti JX stop short and avoid hitting the object even before the driver steps on the brake pedal. Each commercial varies slightly to showcase different features of the 2013 Infiniti JX, but the BCI system remains the focal point in all of them. We've compiled all four videos for you to watch below so we want to know, which one do you like most? Tell us your choice in the comment section below.
