The long-awaited Alfa Romeo 4C is finally added to the automaker's lineup. According to a Swiss dealer, the automaker is planning to build 1,000 examples of both the 4C coupe and roadster to be offered worldwide. It is not yet clear how many cars will be delivered to each market. Powered by a Giulietta QV-sourced 1.7 liter four-cylinder engine, both versions of the 4C have around 235 horsepower and go from zero to 62 mph in under five seconds. Later in the production run, the 4C Stradale will be introduced. This range-topping model will have 270 horsepower. With all the teaser image and spy shots floating around, it has been confirmed that the version of the 4C that debuted at the 2011 Geneva Motor Show will be almost identical to the production model. The 4C is said to be priced at €56,000, with a cap of €64,000. The converted price comes to $75,000 and $86,000, although this isn't a final pricing of how much the car will cost when in the U.S.
Within the next few weeks, complete details will be released about the Alfa Romeo's 4C. Source: Left Lane News
