2014 BMW X4 Interior Spy Shots

By | October 01, 2013
We've seen the photos of the BMW Concept X4 from the Shanghai Auto Show, and some circulating spy photos before its initial debut, but we have yet to see any interior shots. Well, here they are. Based off the X3, the new model features almost the same interior, with only minor changes that will no doubt be on the next X3. Looking at these vehicles side by side, it's clear to see that the new BMW X4 is just a sportier version of the X3, much like what the X6 is to the X5. Already, some of the camouflage has been peeled back from the hood and roofline, and it's only a matter of time before we see this model free of all camo. The interior features a clean layout, though the majority of it is covered, including a possible infotainment system and most of the right side of the dash. We recently took a closer look at the BMW Concept X4 when it broke cover shortly before the Shanghai Auto Show. It sits lower than the X3, and shares a similar body shape to the larger X6. With almost the same measurements as the X3, the BMW Concept X4 will presumably be powered by the same range of engine options found in the X3. Of course, with the BMW 3 Series GT coming out soon, we wonder whether or not the X4 will tread on its similar looking stablemate's toes. Either way, this model is expected to be produced in Spartanburg, South Carolina, alongside the BMW X3, X5, and X6.
