2014 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport 2.0T Gets $2,500 Increase, Equipment

By | September 19, 2013
Hyundai has tweaked pricing for the popular 2014 Hyundai Sante Fe Sport, and which model you opt for will determine just how much more you'll pay. The entry-level 2014 Sante Fe Sport is powered by a 2.4-liter engine, and will start at $25,605 after delivery, an increase of just $50; an all-wheel drive version will add another $1,750 to that price. Opt for the 2.0-liter turbocharged engine--as more than one-third of Santa Fe Sport buyers do--and that starting price is $2,500 more than last year, at $31,305 after delivery. But with that extra cash, you're essentially getting a leather and premium features package. Paragraphimage Hyundai has done away with last year's base model, in an effort to make the 2014 Santa Fe Sport 2.0T a more upscale, premium model, a Hyundai spokesperson said. The higher price tag gets you standard leather seats, 18-inch alloy wheels, rear-window shades, and the addition of the blind spot monitoring system. A 2014 Santa Fe Sport with all-wheel drive and a "Saddle Interior" starts at $33,055 after delivery. We liked the Santa Fe Sport when we tested it, and found it to be a stylish, capable family crossover. Our one gripe was the usual value-quotient that we've come to expect wasn't there. But the 2014 Santa Fe Sport is a fresh looking, attractive crossover that should be considered if shopping the segment. Source: Hyundai

The 2014 Santa Fe Sport 2.0T really nails it in this category.  I absolutely love mine, especially with the Technology Package.  It's much more attactive than previous generation Santa Fe's,  rides great, has very good pickup, has plenty of room, lots of niceties...  I really enjoy this ride.
