2014 Jaguar Models Get Priced

By | August 15, 2013
Jaguar has released the pricing for its new 2014 lineup, adding the all-new F-Type to the family and to the Jaguar sports car legacy. The flagship sedan, the XJ, adds an XJR model, which gains a 550 horsepower engine and other refinements. The new, limited edition XFR-S sedan now has a 550 horsepower supercharged V-8 engine; it's safe to assume that all 100 copies are spoken for. The XK offers the even more rare ultra-performance XKR-S GT, offering only 30 units in North America, 25 of which will go to the U.S., and 5 going to Canada. The all-new F-Type features a lightweight aluminum architecture for performance and agility, a convertible top that folds in 12 seconds at speeds up to 30 mph, and is powered by either a 3.0-liter V-6 engine that produces 340 horsepower, a supercharged V-6 with 380 hp, or the even more powerful 5.0-liter supercharged V-8 engine that delivers 495 horsepower. The interior centers around the driver, melding the classic roadster feel with high-tech features. The XJ brings with it a dramatic design and a fun driving experience to the luxury sedan segment. The XJ is offered in two different lengths, has three different engine options, as well as Jaguar's Instinctive All Wheel Drive. For 2014 the XJ drops its 5.0-liter naturally aspirated V-8 engine in favor of a more fuel-efficient 3.0-liter supercharged V-6 engine. All XJ engines now feature Intelligent Stop/Start for improved fuel economy.
The XF sporting midsize luxury sedan adds a new Vision Pack option that includes blind spot monitor, adaptive front lights, intelligent high beams, and an electrochromic auto-dimming rearview mirror. The XFR-S, which has recently been added to the XF lineup, will have limited production, with only 100 units available for the model year. New packages are offered on all models in the XF lineup, including the Performance Pack, Black Pack, and the Interior Sport Pack. For the 2014 model year, the XKR-S GT Coupe has been added to the XK lineup, although only 25 units will be available in the United States. Touring models offer a sporty drive, as well as a sense of luxury. The Aero Pack, which is now standard on all XK models, features 10-way power and heated Sport front seats and 19-inch Tamara wheels.
