2014 Lexus GX 460 Cuts Price More Than $4,000
Last week Lexus announced the pricing for the new 2014 Lexus GX 460, which starts at $49,085, a significant decrease in price from the outgoing model. The new GX has been redesigned for the new model year, and will feature the Lexus "spindle" grille, standard LED headlamps, DRLs, and available LED foglamps, as well as an all-new infotainment system with complimentary HD Radio Real-Time Traffic and Weather. Interior enhancements on the new GX 460 include new linear espresso wood or abyss black trims, with a mahogany wood trim included on the luxury model and the Premium package. The new model offers available blind spot monitor with rear cross traffic alert. The new infotainment system offers an eight-inch touchscreen display, backup monitor, with Bluetooth audio and automatic phone book transfer through the HD radio. The new Lexus GX 460 offers an updated Premium package at the same price as the base 2013 model. It will include navigation with a backup monitor, a perforated leather-trimmed interior, heated and ventilated front seats, heated outboard rear seats, intuitive parking assist, and three-zone climate control. The Luxury model, with a starting price of $60,715, furthers the standard feature list to include adaptable air suspension, blind spot monitor with rear cross traffic alert, navigation, 18-inch split-spoke wheels with a liquid graphite finish. Powered by a 4.6-liter V-8 engine with a six-speed Electronically Controlled Transmission, the 2014 Lexus GX 460 delivers 301 horsepower, and has an EPA-estimated 15/20 mpg city/highway. Thanks to the standard full-time four-wheel drive, the Lexus GX is one of the only luxury utility vehicles to offer genuine trail driving capabilities. Source: Lexus
