2014 Mercedes-Benz S-Class Ads: S is Best

The 2014 Mercedes-Benz S-Class is an ultra-lux sedan crammed with tech and features—and for Mercedes—the ultimate expression of its brand. In a pair of new S-Class spots, the automaker says the four words the automaker was founded on—"the best or nothing"—are embodied by the 2014 S550 sedan.
We drove the 455-hp twin-turbo V-8 Mercedes-Benz S-Class at the automaker's global launch in Toronto, and were impressed. The luxury car already has advanced, semi-autonomous driving functions; using stereo cameras, radar, and both adaptive cruise control and steering assist functions, the car is able to steer, accelerate and decelerate on its own. The catch? It will only perform those functions for about 10 seconds before yelling at you via vibrations in the steering wheel, sensors and chimes.
There are also several premium features such as a hot-stone massage function, various air perfumes, and rich, premium materials. Often when automaker's dish marketing speak, it can come off as a little cheesy. But in the case of the 2014 Mercedes-Benz S-Class, if you're looking for executive comfort, tech and features—short of forking out Bentley or Rolls money—this is the best.
