2014 Range Rover Priced; New Standard Features

By | November 12, 2013
Although not much has changed since its full redesign for the 2013 model year, the 2014 Range Rover receives new standard features, better fuel economy, and new engine options. The same noteworthy off-road capabilities are available on all models in the lineup, but have been improved with the addition of the fully automatic Land Rover Terrain Response 2 system. Thanks to the new 340 horsepower 3.0-liter supercharged V-6 engine, the 2014 Range Rover now delivers an EPA-estimated 17/19 mpg city/highway. Adding to the fuel savings is the addition of an available intelligent stop/start system. New standard features on the Autobiography model include active rear locking differential and intelligent stop/start. Standard features on all models include electric power assisted steering and intelligent emergency braking. The new Range Rover also includes keyless entry and ignition, heated front seats and steering wheel, adaptive cruise control, blind spot monitoring, Bluetooth, and a 29-speaker 1,700-W Meridian Signature Audio system with 3D surround sound.
Available features include lane departure warning, traffic sign recognition, enhanced parking aids including Parallel Park, Parking Exit, and Perpendicular Park. A connectivity package is also available, which includes InControl connected-car system and Remote Smartphone App. Pricing for the 2014 Land Rover Range Rover starts at $83,545 for the base model and tops out at $135,995 for the Autobiography model, including the $895 destination charge.
