Spied! 2015 Ford F-150 Looks Remarkably Like the Atlas Concept
Pickup fans have long been waiting for the revised 2015 Ford F-150. Some early spy shots give us a good look at what to expect for the next-generation, which will go on sale around next fall. The leaked images confirm that the Ford Atlas Concept, which debuted this year at the Detroit auto show, is a reliable indication of the future F-150. The shots confirm that the F-150 will adopt the Atlas' beefier grille and stark rectangular angles in the front end. When it debuted, the Atlas featured LED headlights and taillights and came with unique shutters on the grille and wheels to improve aerodynamics. Expect the next-generation 2015 Ford F-150 to come with a carryover 5.0-liter V8 along with a turbocharged 3.5-liter V6 with a healthy helping of horsepower. Fuel economy should improve significantly thanks to changes in the engine and a lightweight aluminum construction. To follow up on its truck debut last year, Ford will debut the new F-150 in Detroit this coming January.
As Mitsubishi's profitability grows, it will expand its offerings of SUVs and EVs.
