2015 Hyundai Genesis Sedan Commercials Surface with Car in Motion...in South Korea

By Jacob Brown | December 03, 2013
The 2015 Hyundai Genesis sedan has been receiving quite a bit of attention these days, as the new midsize luxury car looks to go upmarket and finally break into the same crowd as the BMW 5 Series and Mercedes-Benz E-Class, among others. The sedan recently made its debut, but now Hyundai is going on a tear to promote its latest sedan, and it gives us quite the look at it before it comes Stateside next month. Powered by a 3.8-liter V-6 or a 5.0-liter V-8, among other possibilities that could come to the U.S., the 2015 Hyundai Genesis will make use of Hyundai's new HTRAC--that's short for Hyundai Traction--all-wheel-drive system. But we're not sure that's what Hyundai wants you to notice. Instead, it's showing off its new car sliding around Germany's Nurburgring at speed. Why should you care about that? Because Hyundai recently opened a development center at the undulating 12.9-mile track. The automaker is getting serious about proper suspension tuning, at least we hope. While you probably can't understand much of what the commercials say since they're in Korean, Hyundai will be revealing its North American-spec Genesis sedan at January's North American International Auto Show in Detroit. There, we'll get to know more about the new sedan, of which Hyundai hopes to move more than 30,000 units next year. In the meantime, we have these videos, which ought to satiate the need to see more of this car, at least for now. And moving pictures are almost always captivating. What do you think of the latest Hyundai luxury car?
