2015 Mazda 25th Anniversary Miata Sold Out in 10 Minutes
Mazda opened up orders Tuesday for the limited 25th anniversary Miata, and within 10 minutes, all 100 models sold out. Originally, Mazda planned on keeping the site open until May 31, or until it received 250 interested customers. Mazda called the fast sell-out "not entirely unexpected but a pleasant surprise nonetheless." The lucky 100 customers will now have to verify their purchase intent and their preferred transmission. Each customer will be able to pick up the new Miata at any preferred dealership across the nation. The 2015 Mazda Miata 25th Anniversary Edition costs $32,205 when equipped with a six-speed manual or $32,655 for those with an automatic transmission. No additional options are available on this model. All 25th anniversary Mazdas come with a power-retractable hard top, a deep red metallic paint color, Almond leather seats, and other unique design accents. All owners of the limited edition Miata will also receive a complementary Tourneau watch with 25th anniversary Mazda logos. The 25th anniversary models will find their lucky owners starting late this summer. At this time, the rest of the 2015 MX-5 Miata lineup will also debut to the public. Expect an all-new redesigned Miata roadster to debut after this model year. Source: Mazda
