All-New 2012 Subaru Impreza Pricing Announced

By Jason Davis | August 19, 2011
For the first time since 2001, the Subaru Impreza will not have a turbocharged engine in its US market lineup. In fact, the Impreza, like the Mitsubishi Lancer, is growing up. The adrenaline-packed WRX and STi models—scheduled for a 2014 launch, will be an entirely different model. Unhitched from its economy and rally-inspired past, the 2012 Impreza shows off an elegant new design while matching the outgoing model's price. The base model 2.0i starts at $17,495. Premium, Premium Sport, and Limited models, in both four-door and five-door versions, and begin at $18,795, $20,295, and $21,595 respectively. Five-door model pricing for each model is $500 more than four-door models, and automatic transmissions are an additional $1000 for each model; none of the prices include a $750 destination charge. Power comes from a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine, a unique design that enables the Impreza driver to have an excellent feel for the car and control of the road. At 36 mpg highway, the 2012 Impreza will be America's most fuel-efficient all-wheel drive car when equipped with the continuously-variable automatic transmission. Look for the new Impreza in Subaru showrooms by November 2011. Source: Subaru

Another reason I wish we also had a Subaru dealership. Even though I work at a Toyota dealer, I wish daily that we had a Subaru store, too!
