Almost There: 2013 Buick Encore Basically Revealed Before Detroit Debut

By Jacob Brown | January 04, 2012
Buick has been peeling back the covers from its 2013 Encore crossover one quartile at a time for almost a month now on its Facebook page. With the latest look at it after the premium automaker unveiled its front connected to the rest of the crossover, little is left to the imagination outside a small part of its side panels. The 2013 Buick Encore will slot below the full-size Enclave in the brand’s lineup. Although some still insist it will be based on the same underpinnings as the Chevrolet Equinox and GMC Terrain, its compact dimensions make it seem like those who think it's based on the Chevrolet Sonic are winning the day. Therefore, it’s likely to forgo V-6 power in its lineup for four-cylinder engines and more efficient powertrains. Unfortunately, we don’t know much more than that at this time. But we’ll keep you up to date as we learn more leading up to its Jan. 10 debut at the 2012 North American International Auto Show in Detroit. Source: Buick via Facebook

I'm sure this will take over the small SUV class because Buick luxury is a standard on any vehicle they make. I can't wait to check it out at a deal with all the perks and safety additions they've made.
