BMW Releases Limited Edition 7 Series in Japan
BMW has announced its plan to sell a limited edition 7 Series model called the V-12 Bi-Turbo. It will be very similar to the 760Li "V-12 25 years Edition." There will only be 52 models produced. The catch: It's exclusively for the Japanese market. This limited edition model is based off the 760Li, a 7 Series V-12 Bi-Turbo, and is powered by a 6.0-liter V-12 engines with double VANOS technology that delivers 536 horsepower. No technical modifications have been made, but the limited edition package brings both aesthetic and equipment upgrades. The V-12 Bi-Turbo will feature the M package, which includes redesigned bumpers, 21-inch V-spoke wheels, as well as the V-12 Bi-Turbo and M badges. The interior is fitted with Nappa leather, with air vents, levers, and iDrive controller all featuring a ceramic finish. The starting price for the limited edition V-12 Bi-Turbo is equivalent to $222,000, and orders can be placed until August, and the first deliveries have been scheduled for October. Source: Car Scoops
