Ford Europe invests in Cleaner, Green Car Technology

Ford received a $550 million loan guarantee from the British government. It will be investing $2.5 billion in four facilities in Britain over the next five years to produce more eco-friendly powertrains and vehicles. The sites receiving the funds include Ford’s research and development center in Dagenham in Essex, Ford’s plant in Bridgend, and the company’s Southampton and Dagenham plants. via Detroit News
