Ford Offers Zero Percent Financing, Cash Back on 2007 Models

DEARBORN, Mich., June 28, 2007 -- The hottest Ford, Lincoln and Mercury cars, trucks and SUVs are about to get even hotter. Beginning today, Ford is giving customers the best offers of the year with zero percent financing on the 2007 Ford Edge, F-150, Mercury Milan and Lincoln MKX (pictured) and every other 2007 model year Ford, Lincoln or Mercury car, truck and SUV. In addition, customers who select a 2007 model year truck or SUV will receive $2,007 cash back. Spotlight on Product Excellence Advertising for the 2007 Ford Model Year Clearance Event begins today with 30-second commercials airing on network television. The ads, created by JWT Team Detroit, showcase Ford?s full car, truck and SUV lineups. Ads featuring individual products -- including the Ford Fusion, Edge, F-150, Focus, Mustang, and Explorer -- also will air beginning this week. Each commercial puts the spotlight on the vehicles and their outstanding attributes, such as the F-150's best-in-class towing and payload and Mustang's performance and recent segment-leading J.D. Power and Associates 2007 Initial Quality Study (IQS) honor. Fuel efficiency also is highlighted for several models, including Ford Ranger (up to 29 mpg/hwy), Focus (up to 37 mpg/hwy) and Fusion (up to 31 mpg/hwy). Print executions will appear nationally in USA Today and in major newspapers in 25 top markets beginning on June 29. Radio spots will air nationally, regionally and locally beginning this week. Digital advertising for the 2007 Model Year Clearance also will appear on a variety of sites including Google, Yahoo!, MSN and other automotive research sites Hispanic versions of select ads also will be available. Lincoln Mercury's Summer Drive Sales Event invites customers to drive off with the best values of the year on the brands' best models ever. The ad campaign features dazzling night time shots of the Lincoln models and a vibrant beach scene energized by Mercury vehicles. Advertising will spotlight the J.D. Power and Associates' IQS award-honored Lincoln MKZ and Mercury Milan mid-size sedans, emphasizing their outstanding product attributes and fuel efficiency. The campaign, developed by Y&R Team Detroit, kicks off today with 30-second commercials airing on network television and with national newspaper placements. Digital advertising on top search and automotive sites will run throughout the Summer Drive Sales Event.
