HUMMER to leave Detroit

Soon-to-be-sold HUMMER brand is leaving the nest and parent General Motors. Nashville Business Journal reports the company is looking to relocate its headquarters to other parts of the US where other automakers are clustered. Nashville, Tennessee, is currently one potential site. Our take? We wonder if future HUMMER owner Sichuan Tengzhong Heavy Industrial Machinery Co. is trying to avoid the unions which the Southern states. That, or disassociate itself from the troubled city.
