Hyundai Unveils the New i10 Before Frankfurt
Hyundai Motor Europe has released pictures of the New Generation i10, possessing abilities and features that are usually reserved for vehicles found in higher segments. With liberal amounts of space, equipment, and functionality wrapped up in a sleek design, the new i10 reaches a new level for the brand. The New Generation i10 is longer, lower, and wider than the previous generation, letting it provide best-in-class legroom and cargo capacity. Other features include automatic climate control, heated leather steering wheel, and cruise control with a speed limiter. The new i10 takes advantage of its enhanced dimensions, and has been tuned to deliver a refined drive with little-to-no road noise. "New Generation i10 is another significant step forward for Hyundai Motor. Every aspect of the car has been designed and rigorously developed to meet the demands and needs of European consumers. New Generation i10 fully embodies Hyundai's 'true value' proposition, bringing higher levels of features and functionality than many buyers would expect to find in a vehicle of this segment," said Allan Rushforth, senior vice president and COO of Hyundai Motor Europe. Production for the New Generation i10 will begin in September at Hyundai's factory in Izmit, Turkey. Annual production at the plant will rise to 200,000 units with the help of the new i10. When the New Generation i10 hits showroom floors, around 90 percent of Hyundai cars sold in Europe will be built in the region. Source: Newspress UK (Subscription Required)
