Ignition: 2015 Aston Martin V-12 Vantage S Tested
The 2015 Aston Martin V-12 Vantage S packs the automaker's 5.9-liter engine into its smallest car, the result? A 565-horsepower sports car that wants to play. On the latest episode of Ignition, Carlos Lago and crew take the $212,515 (as tested) V-12 Vantage onto the road and the track. During the regular course of testing, Motor Trend clocked a 4.1-second 0-60 mph time, though Aston Martin says the ultimate Vantage is even quicker, needing only 3.7 seconds to 60. Featuring a plush interior with carbon fiber accents, contrast stitching that matches the exterior paint color, and plenty of soft, luxurious materials all the way up to the headliner, this Aston is not just about performance. Aston Martin says the 2015 V-12 Vantage S is the fastest, most powerful car this side of the 750 hp Aston Martin One-77. What did the crew at Ignition think?
