Is this the 2013 Ford Fiesta Sedan?
The Ford Fiesta is a compact car that competes against the Toyota Yaris, Honda Fit, and especially Korea's offerings: Hyundai Accent and the Kia Rio. Seemingly new to most of today's Americans, the Ford Fiesta has been around since the late 70's and 80's. Ford replaced the Fiesta in the U.S. with the (now long gone) Ford Escort while continuing to sell the compact hatchback overseas under the Fiesta moniker. In 2010, Ford brought back the Fiesta to the U.S., where it has been selling, until recently, quite well despite an issue early on with its dual clutch transmission. The larger and all-new Ford Focus, though, may have been cannibalizing Fiesta sales during the past few months. So there's been a close watch on the 2013 Ford Fiesta, which is the first major refresh for the compact car and hatchback. Our colleagues over at Motor Trend magazine recently posted spy shots of the 2013 Ford Fiesta sedan. As speculated, the 2013 Fiesta will wear the new front grill in keeping with the all-new Ford Fusion which is schedule to go on sale later this year. The Ford Fiesta will have new bumpers and what appears to be a new headlight array with integrated LED daytime running lights. A new hood will cover the 2013 Fiesta's engine bay. And speaking of engines, the 2013 Ford Fiesta will carry over its array of three and four-cylinder engines. Motor Trend states that Ford could boost the Fiesta's fuel-efficient 1-liter three-cylinder EcoBoost to produce more power and even be more fuel efficient. Source: Motor Trend
