James Bond's Aston Martin DBS, Vantage get Carbon Black

By Automotive Staff | December 30, 2009
Aston Martin has announced that a special edition Carbon Black package for the DBS and V12 Vantage models will be available. The V12 Vantage Carbon Black edition will come with carbon fiber side strakes with a black mesh, as well as gloss black 10-spoke wheels, a bright-finished grille, and front parking sensors. The package gives both models the black treatment giving them a darker and more sinister look and theme both inside and out. Both vehicles will have lightweight carbon fiber and Kevlar seats wrapped in Obsidian Black leather with silver stitching, and piano black center stack, center console and sill plates. Keeping with the Carbon Black theme, vehicles sporting the package will be hand-laid in Carbon Black metallic paint, a new shade of black that requires more than 50 man hours to paint per vehicle. A Bang & Olufsen audio system will also be a standard feature with the Carbon Black package. Carbon Black editions of the DBS and V12 Vantage are currently available for order at Aston Martin dealerships with the package expected to add a 5 percent premium price to the DBS and V12 Vantage’s already expensive price-tag.
Our take? It looks like James Bond just got a little stealthier. via Leftlane News

I've said this before and I'll say it again...normally I'm a Mustang fan and stick to it to the bitter end...however, this is one Aston Martin that I would not mind owning. Beautiful car!!
