Lexus Introduces 2011 LS 460 Touring Edition With Sport Style, Priced at $73,875
Lexus has announced that the new 2011 LS 460 Touring Edition will carry a base price of $73,875, including the destination charge. The LS 460 Touring Edition is a rear- or all-wheel-drive model that appears inspired by the more expensive and performance-oriented LS 460 Sport model. Lexus says a limited number of 2011 LS 460 Touring Editions will be sold. A Smoky Granite Mica exterior along with 19-inch five spoke alloy wheels on the rear wheel model and 18-inchers on the all-wheel-drive model will distinguish the Touring Edition from other LS 460s. Along with the 19-inch wheels the LS 460 Touring Edition draws inspiration from the LS 460 Sport using a sport kit and grille and sport seats. A wood and leather- trimmed steering wheel and shifting knob are also included in the luxurious Lexus. “The Touring Edition adds excitement to our flagship sedan,” said Mark Templin, Lexus Division group vice president and general manager. “The package on this car enhances styling and comfort, allowing us to attract younger buyers to the LS lineup.” Adding to the aforementioned features, the LS 460 Touring Edition has premium floor mats, black and tan leather-trimmed seats, and matte brown wood trim, the last of which can also be found in the LS 460 Sport. The LS 460 Touring Edition is a step up from the base model that is priced at $68,005. “The LS 460 Touring Edition is a unique package of sporty exterior styling and comfort. With limited units available nationwide they’ll sell out fast to customers who want an all-inclusive luxury package,” Templin said. Source: Lexus
