Mercedes-Benz Teases New 2013 SL 65 AMG and 2013 GLK

Less than two weeks before media from around the globe descends on Gotham for the 2012 New York Auto Show, Mercedes is teasing two of its buzz-worthy models. The new 2013 SL65 AMG is a stealth roadster that is sure to be a photographed to no end, and with good reason. The German automaker has tuned the 6.0-liter V-12 engine to offer even more power, in part thanks to new twin-turbochargers. The interior has received a makeover as well, and in the trailer just released, there are plenty of slow-frame shots for your gawking pleasure. Mercedes will also have an updated version of its rear-wheel and all-wheel-drive (4matic) compact crossover on hand. Like some of the New York attendees that will surely be ogling the Mercedes booth, the GLK-Class will have a new facelift to show off. Offered in both gasoline and diesel variants, there will be two to choose from. The GLK350 employs a 3.5-liter V-6 engine, good for 302 horsepower and an impressive 6.5 second 0-60 time. The much more fuel efficient 2.1-liter four-cylinder Blutech engine is featured in the 2013 GLK250. Check out the sportier looking GLK-Class here:
