Porsche Driver's Selection Introduces New Collection

By | September 28, 2013
It seems like all luxury automakers have a line of lifestyle accessories, and Porsche is no different. The latest collection from Porsche Driver's Selection includes unique home and office items that were introduced at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show. Included in the latest collection are items crafted from original Porsche parts, like a 911 Carrera sport seat that has been turned into an office chair. This is no ordinary office chair, as it is built to the same specs as the actual seats found in Porsche 911 models. Added to that, it's upholstered with the same premium black leather, giving the owner that familiar comfort. Keeping with the authenticity of the seats, this unique office chair even has an electronic backrest adjustment and embossed Porsche emblem on the headrest. Also available in the collection is a wall shelf made from the rear spoiler of the 911 GT3 Cup race car. This unit is made out of carbon fiber that has been repurposed from an original Cup car. If you want this shelf to house all your precious items, you won't have to worry about the heavy stuff, as it can hold up to 264 pounds.
If these items aren't enough to grab your attention--and your wallet--Porsche Driver's Selection is also offering a 1:18 scale resin model of the Porsche 918 Spyder. Only 918 of these models will be produced, so you'd better get it while you can. To see these products and the rest of the collection, go to the Porsche Driver's Selection website, or visit your local Porsche dealer. Source: Porsche
