Fisker, the Southern California based automaker attempting to bring some panache to the electric autosphere, is reported to be planning an SUV/crossover. The new addition is currently code named "Project Nina." The automaker is best known for the Karma, and recently debuted the Surf concept at the Frankfurt Auto Show. If Nina comes to life, the automaker will have 3 models in the range, roughly the number of vehicles the automaker has actually delivered. In June we reported Fisker began hiring for its Delaware plant, acquired from General Motors. The Fisker Karma and Surf and currently being made in Valmet, Finland, where it will stay for now. The Nina SUV/crossover will be produced stateside by an American workforce, according to Chief Operating Officer Bernhard Koehler. The SUV is expected to be priced similarly to the Karma and Surf, and when all is said and done will come in about $80-90k. Source: Auto Express
