Smart Introduces Limited-Edition Smart Forjeremy
At the Shanghai Auto Show this past week, Smart again showed off the Forjeremy, an extremely limited special edition created in collaboration with fashion designer Jeremy Scott. The concept will now be heading into limited series production and will be available as a coupe with an emission-free electric drive, BRABUS electric drive, or BRABUS 102-horsepower gas engine. The Forjeremy features wings just above the taillights, one of the special features designed by Jeremy Scott. "I wanted to design something out of the ordinary, something that expressed my dreams and fantasies and that transferred my fashion ideas to automotive design. I see myself driving this car and can well imagine my friends and cool people all over the world loving the unique design of this Smart," explained Scott in a recent interview. The mirror triangle and rear lid have been embellished with a new badge that reads "by Jeremy Scott." Mirror caps, tridion safety cell, and the radiator grille have been painted in alubeam, with contrasting body panels and alloy wheels finished in polar white. This coloring is exclusive to the BRABUS variants. The interior continues the white theme, with the seats, gear knob, and kneepads made with while leather and diamond stitching. Contrasting with the abundance of white is the black leather instrument panel and black floor mats. Pricing for the three vehicles starts at $43,432 for the gas variant, $45,344 for the electric variant, and $52,901 for the BRABUS electric option. Source: Daimler
