Spied! 2014 Range Rover Sport Caught While Winter Testing

By | February 06, 2013
Our spy photographers have captured photos of the 2014 Land Rover Range Rovers Sport during winter testing in the Arctic Circle, and thanks to the light camouflage, we have a better look at the upcoming SUV than ever before. What can be derived about the new Range Rover Sport from the photos are a slightly wider and lower model than the current Sport model, and a more sloped roof line, making it easier to differentiate from the top-of-the-line Range Rover. Something else to expect on this new model are new engines. Both diesel and gasoline engines will be taken off the Jaguar shelf and placed into the Range Rover Sport. With the 510 horsepower supercharged V-8 engine from the Jaguar XKR, the all-new 2013 Range Rover Sport is likely to stay on top as the quickest Land Rover model available. Engineers are working hard to make all the vehicles form Land Rover lighter, and with the addition of more aluminum in the models, it's no question that the new Range Rover Sport will be significantly lighter than the current model. The 2013 Land Rover Range Rover Sport is believed to have its public debut in September at the Frankfurt Auto Show.
