Spied! 2014 Chevrolet Corvette C7 Roars on GM Proving Grounds
Move over, Chevy SS. America's sports car Chevrolet Corvette C7 is back in the news. Every man's favorite mid-life crisis solution was recently spotted zipping about GM's Proving grounds in Milford, Michigan. Like an earlier shot back in January, the Chevy C7 is heavily camouflaged in black canvas and edge-distorting black and white swirls. The nine photos, though, give unprecedented full front, rear, and side exterior shots of the C7. It's still hard to tell what changes were made on the Corvette's exterior. Hood and front wheel wells on the C7 seem to be less bulbous and pronounced than the current model. Is the Chevy C7 trying to go for a more angular look? The Corvette C7 greenhouse seems to extend further back as well. The Chevrolet C7's rear, though, seems to undergo the most radical change. It's flatter, with rear bumper panels differently designed, although that could be part of the camouflaging. There definitely seems to be some sort of square housing around the taillights as per a supplier's video earlier this year. The Chevy C7's Quad tailpipes are closer together as well, forming one set of four pipes, instead of two pairs. Check out the images below.
