So excited that Buick's next SUV the Anthem is going to be a nice size vehicle that young and old will enjoy. Hope they stay on schedule so we can see the vehicle in 2014 and drive it in 2015. I am a Buick lover and was hoping to already be in a Buick SUV, but was disappointed with the Encore, just two small for anyone. No one likes to sit on top of their passenger, and we always have a passenger more often than not. I hope it has the Buick amenities that we have come to expect from Buick. The lumbar seat for both the driver and passenger is a plus, that only Buick has to offer. Of course looking for good gas mileage also. Thanks Buick don't disappoint your Buick lovers this time. Live up to the name "Buick"

The LiDAR on top is a Velodyne HDL-64E which costs about $70,000. It could be used to test the ACC system, but there surely must be cheaper ways to do it than use this expensive 360 degree tope-end LiDAR?
I have been following the development of autonomous vehicles and their potential impacts on society, and this is an unusual development, as this is the first time I have seen a LiDAR on a vehicle that isn't obviously being used for researching the technology. If you find out more then please let us know.
