Spied! 2015 Ford F-150 Finally Exposes Atlas-Inspired Interior Details
Next month at the Detroit Auto Show, we're expecting to see a wholly reinvigorated, new 2015 Ford F-150 pickup truck. But just because we're not quite at the full reveal doesn't mean details aren't leaking out already. Spied on the streets of Michigan, our sources have captured more photos of the 2015 Ford F-150 in more basic and uplevel guises. That's not too exciting, as we've been down this road before. What is, however, is that we have our first look at some of the new pickup truck's interior details. As expected, the 2015 Ford F-150 draws heavy influence from the Ford Atlas that debuted at January 2013's North American International Auto Show. Edges are squared, and from what we can see, it looks like it'll be a stylish package with vertical vents and a shifter reminiscent of the Atlas'. Of course, there's the requisite chrome and coloring, and it'll likely be much nicer when we see the production-spec materials. There are also two Sync displays, one of which with the larger MyFord Touch screen that ought to measure somewhere around eight inches diagonally. Unlike past units, this new version of MyFord Touch will have more redundant controls for the radio and other functions that weren't necessarily always accessible on the main screen. Outside, there's not much new except for the Atlas-inspired headlights in cleaner detail. The 2015 Ford F-150 is coming into clearer focus, and we'll soon know more about its next-generation engine lineup, which is likely to include more than one EcoBoost engine this next time around. Expect the 3.5-liter V-6 to carry over, though. We'll have all the details for you as we get them. In the meantime, enjoy the gallery of the 2015 Ford F-150 we have below.
