Survey Says: Most Americans Say the Car is Most Exciting Place They've Had Sex

In a recent survey conducted for condom maker Trojan called the U.S. Sex Census, 48 percent of Americans surveyed said “the most exciting place (they) have had sex” is in a car. Getting down in the car was far and away the No. 1 choice, with second place going to someone else’s bed, which garnered some 33 percent of the tally. After the car and someone else’s bed, the most exciting place adults have had sex are the woods with 27 percent, beach/sea with 23 percent and a hot tub rounding out the top five with 22 percent, respectively.  Someone else’s car apparently didn’t make the cut. When it came to picking a place where they’d like to have sex but haven’t yet, 33 percent of men took the transportation route, saying they’d like to become a member of the elusive mile high club on a plane. Women went in a different route in fantasyland as the beach and/or sea took the top spot with 26 percent.
StrategyOne conducted the survey for Trojan. Two surveys were done. The first was a national sample of 1,000 10-minute surveys were conducted online among U.S. adults 18 and over, with a 3.3 percent margin of error. The second online survey focused on New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Philadelphia, Boston, San Francisco, Dallas/Ft. Worth, Washington, D.C. Atlanta and Houston. A total of 2000, 10-minute surveys were conducted total, 200 per city, with a 2.2 percent margin of error. OK, come clean, did you ever do it in a car? Source: Trojan via USA Today
