Toyota Recalls 19 Models for Mismatched Labels on Southeast-Distributed Vehicles

Southeast Toyota, which operates semi-autonomously from Toyota in the rest of the country, has recalled 19 separate models for mismatched labels that are outside the weight limits prescribed by the automaker. As a result, customers may be under the impression they can load the vehicles up beyond what the vehicle can actually take, leading to instability, tire failure, an accident, or injuries. The models include:
  • 2008, 2010-13 Toyota Tundra
  • 2010-12 Toyota RAV4
  • 2012 Toyota Sequoia
  • 2010-11 Toyota Corolla
  • 2010-11 Toyota Camry
  • 2010-11 Toyota Camry Hybrid
  • 2010-13 Toyota Highlander
  • 2010-13 Toyota Highlander Hybrid
  • 2010-13 Toyota FJ Cruiser
  • 2011 Toyota Land Cruiser
  • 2010-13 Toyota Venza
  • 2010-11 Toyota 4Runner
  • 2010-13 Toyota Tacoma
  • 2011-12 Toyota Sienna
  • 2012 Toyota Prius
  • 2013 Scion FR-S
  • 2011 Scion xD
  • 2011 Scion xB
  • 2012 Scion tC
