By | November 08, 2013
It is not often that Cadillac and Lexus are lumped together. While they may not be as immediate rivals as BMW and Mercedes-Benz, there are reasons for compare. Both automakers have introduced two of the most compelling sports sedans in the industry: the all-new Cadillac CTS VSport and the 2013 Lexus GS350 F Sport. Motor Trend recently performed a head-to-head comparison test on these vehicles, and the differences were surprising.
The Cadillac CTS was named Motor Trend's 2014 Car of the Year and features a new design and higher level of performance than the previous model. The new Vsport model bridges the gap between the base CTS and the CTS-V, the most powerful production sedan in the world. The Vsport features a 3.6-liter V-6 engine that delivers a whopping 420 horsepower and killer acceleration and braking times. The Lexus GS350 F Sport provides only 305 horsepower, but has one advantage: its light weight. Will this give the Lexus an edge over the CTS?
