Video: 2014 Honda Odyssey Has More New Features Beyond HondaVAC
If that kid playing with the HondaVAC didn't melt your heart and make you want to click on this, we give up. It's official: You have no soul. If, in fact, you clicked on this, thinking to yourself that you wanted to find out more about a minivan of all things, we have just the video for you. The 2014 Honda Odyssey has been receiving plenty of buzz for the HondaVAC built-in shop vac in Touring Elite models. But if you're a family guy or gal, chances are safety is also one of your top priorities. The Odyssey sweeps away the competition here, too, with available front-collision warning and lane-departure warning systems. In addition, the 2014 Honda Odyssey also receives a revised interior with the new HondaLink telematics and infotainment system, the dual-screen layout that debuted with the 2013 Honda Accord, and a push-button starter. It also features revised front and rear styling and LED tail lights. In the past, we've said that the Honda Odyssey is the best vehicle that Honda makes, which some dismiss because it's not a sports car or something light and nimble like the old Accords, Preludes, and Acura Integras that helped build the company's reputation. But Honda has always been a company that revolves around innovative engineering. Between the Odyssey's safety and infotainment systems and its pragmatic, desirable features like the vacuum, it's really hard to think of a current Honda that embodies the strengths of the company any better than the 2014 Honda Odyssey.
