Video: First Test of 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray
There's a lot we could say here. We could fill this whole page with words. We could wax on about the Corvette's 60-year history. We could expound on how the latest, seventh-generation Corvette--the C7 to the Corvettisti--is the most technologically sophisticated version of the car ever built. We could go into the styling of the car, and how it harks back to Corvettes of the past, without wallowing in retro-styling nostalgia. We could even mention the low-for-what-you-get price. But quite frankly, we could also list what we plan on getting at the grocery store, how our commutes were, or theorize on the source of the inscrutable drip under the sink that keeps flooding the kitchen. It doesn't matter. You're just going to skip it all and watch the video below, where Motor Trend's Carlos Lago puts the all-new 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray through its paces. He slides it through corners, powers through country roads, talks a lot about the underlying technology and... Seriously, why bother telling you? Good chance you haven't even read this far and are already a couple minutes into the video. For what it's worth, I think the drip is probably coming from a loose connection to the hot-water tap, but I can't quite narrow it down. Any ideas?
Consumer Reports is being especially nice to the 2014 Chevrolet Impala, granting it a well-deserved top score...
