Video of the Day: 2012 BMW M5 Rocks Out with its Tail Out
We’ve seen the pictures and read the stats sheet on BMW’s upcoming 2012 M5 sport sedan. But now BMW has posted a video of the new car in all of its roaring twin-turbocharged V-8, tail-out glory. Motivated by a BMW’s TwinPower 4.4-liter V-8 sending 560 horsepower and 502 lb-ft of torque to the rear wheels via a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission, the M5 should be good for a 0-60 time of 4.4 seconds and a top speed of 155 mph — 190 mph with the de-limited M Driver’s Package.
