Video of the Day: Skateboard Artist Rob Dyrdek Sends 2012 Chevrolet Sonic Kickflipping
Skateboards and compact cars are very different modes of transportation. One is a low-powered, lightweight, maneuverable four-wheel device that's often the first mode of transport for young people. The other's a board with wheels screwed to the bottom. But it didn't matter to Rob Dyrder that the 2012 Chevrolet Sonic is several thousand pounds heavier than the heaviest skateboard. Dyrder, a well-known skateboarder, performed a "kick flip" maneuver with a specially modified Sonic under the shadow of Magic Mountain's Colossus rollercoaster in Santa Clarita, Calif. this weekend. What did he jump? A huge (like, several car-lengths) skateboard, of course.. Did he stick the landing, or did the laws of physics resent being toyed with? Check out the results below.
