This year’s anniversary model gets a significant increase in engine output as well as an upgrade to better brakes. In addition, this the anniversary model receives improved aerodynamics in comparison with prior models.

The two-door Nissan 350Z coupe continues a tradition engraved for over three decades by sporting a natural hatchback design. The look of the coupe is certainly flashy, easily identified as a sports car. The sleek features, which exist throughout the design of the body, illustrate finesse. The dual-exhaust, which protrudes from the rear, blends seamlessly into the design. The vehicle’s front and rear overhangs are short, so handling is made easier, while the outside mirrors are power driven and heated.

The base model has a stylish interior. Looking forward, the driver sees the speedometer and other gauges displayed in an intricate design. Directly below the stereo system is where the knobs controlling the auto climate control system are located. The stereo system in the middle of the dash has a large storage compartment above it. Further above that, more gauges are laid out nicely. The 350Z is a two-seater. Both seats are designed for a comfort fit, with cup holders attached. The driver’s seat features a side bolsters, which grip the driver’s waist to hold them in place. Some models, such as the Touring, include leather seats. Other models have cloth seats in them. Nissan made sure to set aside sufficient storage space, so there is plenty of room to carry golf clubs and luggage.

Performance & Handling

The Nissan 350Z is powered by a 3.5-liter, six-cylinder engine. It outputs 287 horsepower and 274 lb-ft of torque. It features smooth acceleration, going from zero to 60 in under six seconds. The 350Z adopts Continuously Variable Valve Timing Control System (CVTCS) technology, which provides it with extra power and faster acceleration. An electronically-controlled throttle helps to improve drivability.

Nissan made the decision to equip the 350Z with a multi-link suspension design. To provide better handling and reduce weight, aluminum was employed in the suspension. Double lower pivots are used in the front suspension to give the driver straight-line stability and extraordinary turn-in response.

The Nissan 350Z is equipped with anti-lock brakes on all four wheels. There is front-impact airbags on both the driver and front passenger sides to help prevent injuries should there be an accident. There is an energy management feature, which helps control and manages the flow, and how much energy is being used. Pretensioners installed within the seatbelt mechanism tighten seatbelts automatically to help keep passengers in an optimal seating position in the event of a collision.

The 350Z is equipped with a security system to help prevent unwanted intrusion and an ignition disabling device to prevent the engine from being started by the wrong person. Optional additions include a first aid kit.
