This Nissan Altima is a dream combination -- the perfect family car without being too fuddy-duddy for a single mom who just hit forty, but still feels 29! It has cutting edge technology, style that is modern and edgy and drives like a sports car. It is just as roomy as any mid-sized family vehicle on the market, but its design makes it seem smaller and sportier. I used to have a newer model Mustang that looked great but felt cramped with no room in the backseat for my daughter or her friends. I have to say, having no room was a great way to get out of carpools, but the Altima is so much better in every category that I don't mind pitching in now. The sound system in great, the drive is smooth but still fun and I really look good behind the wheel! My teenage daughter can't wait to drive this car...but until she gets her driver's license, I am the kids' favorite chauffeur! The bells and whistles make me feel like I'm in a luxury car and the mileage is pretty good, so I really don't mind carting my daughter and her friends around. But the only way I am letting my daughter drive this car when she is old enough is if I get myself a new Altima when the time comes! Driving this car makes me feel confident and safe - I'm never worried about breaking down. This car has converted me into being a Nissan driver for life.
