The Nissan Murano is in the forefront of the ever-growing crossover SUV wave and for 2009, the Murano has been redesigned inside and out.
Up front, the new grille and headlights flow seamlessly into one another in a futuristic look, while to the rear, the taillights present a more traditional look.
The Murano gets a bump up in power for 2009, now sporting a 265 horsepower 3.5-liter V6. Power is sent to the front wheels or available all wheel drive through a continuously variable transmission, replacing the traditional multi-speed automatic.
Fuel economy on the Murano ranges from 18 miles per gallon city, to 23 miles per gallon highway.
Base MSRP for the 2009 Nissan Murano is $26,870. A fully loaded Murano will break the $40,000 mark. The Murano is backed by a 5-year, 60,000-mile powertrain warranty.
With updated styling and a more powerful engine, the '09 Murano has positioned itself to continue to lead in the highly competitive crossover market.
