The 1997 Nissan Pickup regular cab models have approximately a 175-inch long, 65-inch wide, 62-inch tall, and 104-inch wheelbase. It features black front and rear bumpers, externally-adjustable black door mirrors, halogen bulb single headlights, a rear platform step, a sliding rear window, and tinted glass. Optional equipment includes chrome bumpers, power door mirrors, a sliding rear window, privacy glass, and a bed liner. Extended Cab SE models come standard with a sunroof. It has a curb weight of 2820 pounds and sits on steel or silver alloy 14-inch wheels.


The interior of the 1997 Nissan Pickup regular cab models is roomy enough to fit three passengers, while the extended cab models can accommodate up to four passengers. In the front, there are bucket seats in the extended cab models and a bench seat in regular cab models. Both models have a covered storage box and two cup holders. There are pockets in the doors and bins on the seats for storing maps and small objects. Depending on the model, features may include power windows and locks, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and an AM/FM stereo with a cassette player included. A CD player and changer are optional.
