In 2010, I fell in love when Nissan debuted that year's model of the Rogue. For those out there that are unfamiliar with the model, it is a lovely little compact crossover SUV that debuted in October 2007. It has speed, power and maneuverability that you just don't find when driving SUVs. It truly is the perfect fit for car buyers that are looking for a vehicle with size and passenger room. One thing I personally love is the miles per gallon ratio. Most SUVs are known for their gas guzzling abilities, and that is exactly where the benefits of having a cross over come in. My gas mileage in that car was phenomenal, to say the least. Did I mention the space? I really enjoyed the fact that I was able to pile up the car with groceries, my kids and their friends all in the same load. As far as safety is is concerned, I would have to say it felt very safe due to the added size. One aspect that I thought could have been a little better was the handling, but for its capabilities I was pretty impressed. I leased the crossover for two years, and I only opted out because my wife decided she wanted to try something new, but the time I spent with the Rogue was unforgettable, and it made me look at cross-overs in a whole new dimension. I recommend it to anyone looking to get that extra space without compromising maneuverability and miles per gallon. A truly great fit!
