What's New
For 2010, the Nissan Rogue S received a new options package that added exterior styling updates and a back-up camera with a rearview-mirror-mounted display. In addition, the new S Krom Edition debuted with unique 17-inch aluminum wheels with 225/60 tires, a new front fascia with integrated fog lamps, rear privacy glass, a body-color rear spoiler, and center-mounted exhaust. The Krom offers either front- or all-wheel drive and is available in red, black, and gray color schemes.
Exterior
Based on Nissan's C platform, the Nissan Rogue rests on plenty of high-strength steel for stiffness and light weight. Rogue is one of the longest compact SUVs on the market, with an extended 105.9-inch wheelbase and 182.9-inch overall length.
Interior
The Nissan Rogue's interior offers 58 cubic-feet of cargo space and a rear cargo organizer. Leather-trimmed seats, heated front seats, power driver's seat, Bluetooth phone capability, satellite radio, and a Bose audio system with seven speakers are available.
Performance & Handling
As the only engine option for the Nissan Rogue, the 2.5-liter DOHC 16-valve I-4 engine puts out 170 horsepower and 175 pound-feet of torque joined to a continuously variable transmission (CVT) with optional paddle shifters. The Rogue can achieve 0-to-60 in 8.0 seconds and delivers respectable fuel economy. Front strut/rear multi-link suspension, electric power steering, and four-wheel disc brakes round out the Rogue model.
Safety
Standard safety systems on the Nissan Rogue include front, front-side, and side curtain airbags. Also standard are traction control, stability control, and a tire pressure monitoring system.
