The new 2006 Nissan Sentra now comes with a four-cylinder engine as an option and comes with increased engine power and manual or automatic transmission.
The 2006 Nissan Sentra comes with a 177.5-inch length, 67.3-inch width, 55.5-inch height, and a 100-inch wheelbase with 11.6 cubic feet of maximum cargo space. It comes with factory tinted windows, power mirrors, and rear window defroster. The Nissan Sentra SE-R is available for fitting of front fog lights and the variable intermittent wipers, whereas the rear window defroster is a standard feature on all the trims.

Meanwhile, the Nissan Sentra SE-R comes fitted with the 2.5-liter I-4, 175 hp at 6,000 rpm, 180 lb-ft at 4,000 rpm torque engine, and the Nissan Sentra SE-R Spec V comes with the 2.5-liter I-4, 165 hp at 6,000 rpm, and 175 lb-ft at 4,000 rpm of torque.
The Sentra 1.8 and the Nissan Sentra 1.8 S come with five-speed manual transmission. The Nissan Sentra SE-R is a four-speed automatic transmission, while the Nissan Sentra SE-R Spec V is a six-speed manual transmission. The 2006 Nissan Sentra is a front-wheel drive with front wheel independent suspension, and for safety comes with rack and pinion steering, front and rear coil springs for stability, multi-link rear suspension, rear anti-roll bar, and front strut suspension.
