Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

  • Comfortable
  • Attractive Design
  • Adequate Power
  • Lots of Features

  • Limited Storage Space

The Saab 9-7x is without question one of the best value sport utility vehicles on the market. It seems an elegant balance of performance, utility, and comfort, all rolled into a very attractive exterior. First, the performance. It comes standard with a six-cylinder engine at 285 hp, more than enough to keep this midsize SUV responsive. The 9-7x also comes with a four-speed automatic transmission and traction control to keep you moving when road conditions are less than ideal. It also comes standard with an independent double wishbone suspension in front for last minute deer-dodging on the highway. The engineers didn't neglect comfort, either with a 275-watt Bose audio system to make that commute a little less painful, and air filtration to prevent you from huffing smog while you're singing along to your favorite rock band. In addition, the SUV is available with both DVD players and navigation systems to keep the kids entertained while you get where you're going. If you aren't sold on the specs, the looks may do the trick. The elegant design looks like a cross between a Range Rover and an Acura TSX. Not a bad combination. In sum, the Saab is a great value and will provide you with the looks and comfort of far pricier luxury vehicles while still giving the driver a level of performance significantly above its peers.
