Once the motorcross circuit discovered the well-made and durable Suzuki bikes, the world was clamoring for the company’s products. The Suzuki Aerio is also known for its dependability. This car wasn’t designed with speed or high precision in mind, and it offers neither. 2007 was the last model year Suzuki chose to release the Aerio. This car was much like its previous incarnations except with some differences in engine style and some other details. Also like its earlier versions, the 2007 Aerio is equipped with a great deal more interior space than other economy sedans of its class. It’s one of the few advantages this car had over the competition. Unlike previous years, the Aerio for this model year only features the sedan style. The wagon body style was discontinued.
Under the hood, the Suzuki Aerio offers a modest, but effective powertrain. The car is equipped with a 2.3-liter four-cylinder engine offering 155 hp and is coupled with a standard five-speed manual transmission.
This model was available in two trim levels, the base and the Premium. Standard features included a rear spoiler, automatic climate control, and all-powered accessories. The base trim level was also equipped with daytime running lights and cruise control. The Premium trim level offered all of those amenities in addition to heated outside mirrors, steering wheel wrapped in leather, and seven speaker sound system with built-in CD changer.Suzuki Aerio Evolution
The Suzuki Aerio was offered from the 2002 model year to the 2007. This car was available in two distinct body styles, the sedan and the four-door hatchback. Both were equipped with a 2.0-liter inline four-cylinder engine and were paired with a five-speed manual transmission on the entry-level cars. Clients also had the option of choosing a four-speed automatic transmission. In later years, the engine was upgraded to a 2.3-liter model, and the change increased the power and acceleration capabilities accordingly. From the 2003 model until the end of the Aerio production, the car featured all-wheel drive.
Considering the previous versions of the Suzuki Aerio were classed as a compact sedan, it could boast a large amount of interior space. These cars provided sufficient head and leg room for almost every passenger. It’s important to note however, that the Aerio did suffer from a lack of refinement in the interior design department. The materials used in the cabin were considered to be sub-par when compared to other economy sedan models. Cargo space was also not a problem for the Aerio, and it offered an impressive 14.6 square feet of space.
