1998 Suzuki X-90 Review

Unlike anything else on the road.

Reviewed by Automotive on

The 1998 Suzuki X90 is the ultimate miniature sports car. It offers lots of sophistication and luxury. The X90 combines the look of a two-seater convertible with a sport utility vehicle. The T-top roof covers the two-seater cockpit and just behind it is an 8.4 cubic foot trunk.

The Range

Body Styles: convertible
Engines: 1.6-liter four-cylinder
Transmissions: five-speed manual
Models: Suzuki X90, Suzuki X90 SE

What's New

The 1999 Suzuki X90 doesn’t have any changes.

The 1999 Suzuki X90 has a look all of its own. There is no other car with even a similar design to this unique vehicle. The exterior is sleek and sporty with a T-top. The total length of the X90 is only 146.1 inches, and it is equipped with standard 15-inch wheels.

Two people can fit in the 1999 Suzuki X90, but they will be comfortable with adequate legroom. The bucket seats are comfortable and the X90 has more overall room than most two-seaters. It also features a full-size trunk for storage, which makes this a good vehicle for singles or a couple who likes to travel.

Performance & Handling

Despite so many positives for the 1999 Suzuki X90, it is somewhat lacking in power. For a two-seater boasting influences from sports utility vehicles, it should have a little more power output to live up the reputation.

The 1999 Suzuki X90 has mostly standard safety features. It comes with dual airbags, daytime running lights, and four-wheel anti-lock brakes. The four-wheel drive option includes cruise control and a security system for added safety. The safety features on the X90 are sufficient, but it's definitely aren’t over the top.
